Subscription

A subscription lets you search the map by name and save favourites you can see offline.

What it unlocks

• Searching: the search box on the map finds a town, city or postcode, and places by name.
• Favourites: saving places with the heart, and finding them again with or without signal.

Everything else in the app works without a subscription: the map, the filters, adding places, photos, ratings and posts.

Buying

When subscriptions are on sale, Subscription shows in the menu under Account. Until then there is nothing to buy, and the app says so wherever a subscription is needed.

1. Tap Menu, then Subscription.
2. Pick a plan. Each one shows its price from Google Play.
3. Tap Subscribe, or Get the pass for the one-month pass.
4. Pay in Google Play's own window.

The app unlocks as soon as Google Play confirms the payment. You pay through Google Play, never in the app itself. If you already pay but the app has not noticed, tap Restore purchases.

Cancelling

You cancel in Google Play:

1. On Subscription, tap Cancel subscription.
2. Tap Cancel in Google Play and finish there.

A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of the time you have paid for. The screen shows the date it ends, and you are not charged again. Tap Resubscribe to start it again. The one-month pass does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

If a payment fails

The screen says Google Play couldn't take payment. Tap Fix in Google Play to update how you pay.

When it ends

Your favourites are not deleted. They are hidden, and come back when you subscribe again. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in Google Play first.
